Feedback and Assessment

In future-oriented teaching within a culture of digitality and a future in flux, feedback and assessment go beyond summative assessment methods – the establishment of a feedback culture is extremely important. Feedback for learners can take on the function of alternative performance assessment (formative assessment) or learning support but can also promote self-learning skills or strengthen self-efficacy (when appropriately placed and formulated).
However, feedback does not only refer to the feedback given to the learners. Feedback from learners and colleagues plays an equally crucial role and can help improve teaching quality as well as collegial cooperation and collaboration.
